Here's the thing with me... I've seen people cheat in school a few times since being back, maybe a slight glance at their phone here and there... But today was different. Today I watched someone look at their phone and write down their answers from it the entire exam. THAT PISSES ME OFF. The rest of us are going to get a grade based on how well we studied and this loser was going to end up with a great score through cheating. What he was doing was so arrogant and flippant... like a big FU to the rest of us. So, you bet your ass that I turned him in.

Colonialism Review

When was the last time you were excited to review your notes for a short answer and essay midterm exam on the Colonialism of Ireland and the Indian subcontinent? Never, that's right, never.

I love the lectures and knowing this information but that's as far as I care to take it. Reviewing all of this for the midterm is mind numbing. It's total meh.

There's just too many Kings of England and leaders wherever doing this, that, and the other. So much minutia to remember.

Women tend to lose themselves in their children and spouse. Jada is right, we have to take care of our needs, otherwise we put our happiness in the hands of others, which causes us and the ones we love unnecessary suffering.

Altered Literature Project - Little Red Riding Hood

Just finished up this super cool project for class tonight. My group decided to showcase this "altered literature" project using the classic story of Little Red Riding hood. I was charged with creating Granny's Facebook page. One of my group-mates made an Instagram for Little Red, and the other made a Twitter account for her internet stalker, The Wolf. We wanted to take the theme of the project (updating a classic children's tale) and tie it into the discussion of the dangers of social media that permeated the first half of the semester. 

UPDATE: FYI. My group won the contest... we each received a $15 gift card. There was some stiff competition, and we came out on top. Needless to say, I know how to "play the game." Teachers/professors love it when you tie things together like this!
