Dodger just brought me a baby carrot that looks like a penis. He said, "here, do you want it?" ROTFLMAO. Never a dull moment with my man. lol.

Validation from friends is a beautiful thing.

It's nice when they see my true compassion and grace for other people. That I see beyond labels and actions... that stereotypes hurt and cloud us from seeing the humanity in all people. That they know I march to the beat of my own drummer and love me for going against the grain when necessary.

Have you ever wondered where our "stuff" comes from, how it's made, and where it all goes when we are done with it. Annie Leonard has made a video to tell us about our "stuff". 

What do you think about our system? Do you believe what she's saying? Do you think there's another side to the story? Of course there is. There's always two sides to any coin. So take a look at a critique on this video.

As for my own opinion, I do think we should be good stewards of the planets resources. I do think we need community and sustainability. I do think corporations are irresponsible and government has overstepped its place. I think both sides made good points but I don't have to fully believe either side to know that I have a personal responsibility to love and care for people in my community and around the world. I don't have to take sides to know that no one should be homeless or without healthy food and clean water or proper health care. I think that people have power and make the world go round. I think that we've gone so long with the way things are that we don't think we can change it. I don't believe that for one second.
