Tip for Tracking Leftovers

Here's a tip for keeping track of your leftovers, so they get eaten and don't go to waste...

Use your word processing program and print off a sheet of paper with an appropriate header that fills up the entire width of the paper (mine says Leftovers... nom nom) and then laminate it or stick it in a glossy page protector and stick it to the front of the fridge. Then you can use a dry erase marker to write on the area that's been left white and list what leftovers are in the fridge.

This way you family doesn't have to wonder what's in there to eat and food doesn't go to waste... because if your family is anything like mine, they won't search very hard for what's in the fridge.
