Pop Evil w/ Devour the Day & Oni

Dodger and I went to a show at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington last night. It was a great show. Devour the Day members are also a part of Pop Evil. They were fun. Oni was a nice surprise, too. You never know how the openers are going to be at shows. We've seen some good ones and some bad ones over the past five years.

Game Night at Grandpa's

Dodger, Dancer, the boys and I went to my dad's yesterday afternoon for some food and game time. Dancer dressed Zavi in one of her old shirts from when she was that age. So cute!

Zavi got sucked into the TV a time or two.

Zavi got his own 'playing cards' and tried to shuffle like we were doing. 

Both boys did a wonderful job regulating. 

Lettuce - The Saute Tour

Sarah Ping and I went to the Lettuce show yesterday at The Castle Theatre. It was so much fun! AND Wiggle Guy was there. Dodger and I met him a few years ago at the Rumble Down festival in Mechanicsburg. I've been wanting to run into him at another show ever since.

We saw Disturbed again last night. This time we got there before everything started and were able to see the whole show including Sevendust and Three Days Grace open.

We went to see Disturbed last night. Unfortunately, due to the way ticket costs are soaring, we were in the nosebleed section. It was still badass. Sevendust and Three Days Grace opened. We missed Sevendust, but that's okay because we just saw them at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington.

We saw Sevendust up close and personal last night at The Castle Theatre in Bloomington.

I also got a video of one of the women who was putting on a show of her own. This was pretty cool to watch. It's the first time I've ever seen anyone sign a live concert.

Filter and Local H - The Castle Theatre

 

I love going to The Castle Theatre. It's a small venue, so when I get to see some of my favorite bands up close and personal like this, it's awesome. Way more awesome than some nosebleed seats at a stadium concert.

Echoes of Pompeii - The Definitive Pink Floyd Experience

 

Experiencing what it was like when Pink Floyd played the Roman Amphitheater in Pompeii, Italy.

Dodger and I went with mom this evening to the Lincoln Square Theater downtown to see the Pink Floyd show. We've always been a fan of Pink Floyd. Sometimes it's just the vibe we need. The light show was pretty impressive, too.
